to structure and execute these complicated types of exchanges.

involved.
The principal and
founder of National 1031, Andrew
G. Ogden, is a tax, real estate and business attorney, and with
approximately twenty years of experience handling 1031 exchanges. The
Exchange Manager and co-principal of National 1031, Janese
E. Patterson, brings over six years experience in processing and
managing 1031 exchanges, in addition to her paralegal and accounting
background. Prospective Exchangors and their advisors can consult directly
with Andrew and Janese to discuss specific situations and develop exchange
strategies. After an exchange has begun, Janese will ensure the
correct and timely preparation of the necessary exchange documents,
coordination with realtors, title companies and other closing agents,
and the tracking of each transaction through the exchange process. Both
Andrew and Janese will always be available to discuss with clients any
issues that may arise as the exchange progresses, and to ensure compliance
with the technical requirements of Section 1031, the I.R.S. Regulations
and relevant rulings, case law and other precedent.
The security of
funds and property held by the Qualified Intermediary in an exchange
is always of primary importance to all Exchangors and their advisors.
